Maria Elena Bello

 Maria Elena Bello (born April 18 1967) is an American actress, producer, and writer. Her film credits include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016). Bello has appeared on television in roles like Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997) and Payback (1999) and Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003) and A History of Violence (2005), Michelle McBride (2016), as well as Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane (2021-2021). Bello was raised in Norristown to Kathy Bello and Joe Bello. [7][8] At Villanova University, she majored in the field of politics. Following graduation, Bello honed her acting skills in a number of New York theater productions. Bello is the mother of Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. Bello published a blog in November of 2013 about her identical-sex relationship, Clare Munn, and how it ended. She released a book called Whatever...Love Is Love: Questioning the labels we give ourselves (Dey Street Books 28 April 2015)
